ADMISSION

The programme normally consists of a total of 25-30 days, divided into six modules over a twelve month period. Most participants on the programme complete all the modules in one cohort which has certain learning and development benefits. However, recent pandemic related restrictions on people’s availability, ability to meet in person and travel internationally has encouraged ODC to offer greater flexibility. Whilst there are clear advantages to doing the programme as part of an intact cohort, participants are now welcome to complete certificated standalone modules and opt in and out of the programme. If all six modules (in any order) are completed withing three years / cohorts a participant will become an NTL graduate and receive their full programme certificate.

To allow for some occasional evening work, and to support the cohort’s development as an evolving, temporary system, participants are encouraged to stay overnight at or near the programme venue for face-to-face modules.

Application form

All applicants go through an interview and assessment and process. You can download the application form here. If you would like to apply, please complete the application form and send it to info@odceurope.co.uk

ONLINE COMPETENCIES & REQUIREMENTS

As a mixed mode programme featuring both f2f and online modules we wish to highlight that participants need to be able to use Zoom (for online meetings) and Dropbox or MS Teams (to access module material). We are not looking for high-level IT skills but you will need to have some basic familiarity and competence with these platforms. ODC is unable to offer IT support remotely so if this might be an issue we encourage you to seek out formal or informal assistance locally. (Obviously a stable wi-fi connection is essential for online meetings and video presence throughout is expected unless previously agreed otherwise with the Module Dean.)

Tuition

The tuition for the programme is £12,000 plus VAT. Participants are responsible for organising their own accommodation and evening meals. Discounted rates are available at the programme venue.

First payment (40%) is required on acceptance onto the programme, second (30%) by the 1st of the month of the third module (usually September) and the final payment (30%) by the 1st of the month of the fifth module (usually January).

The timely payment of invoices is a condition of participation in the programme. Applicants are reminded that the programme operates on a not-for-profit basis.

Under exceptional circumstances, individuals are allowed to participate in specific modules rather than the full six-module programme. The individual module fee is £2,500 plus VAT. Full graduates of the OD Certificate Programme can return to participate in individual modules whenever they want to do so for a fee of £750 plus VAT per module.  Please contact us about availability or to be placed on the notification list.

CLOSING DATES FOR APPLICATIONS

We take applications for the programme (to join the cohort) up to and including Module 3 (DOWI - September). After that, due to the shared learning undertaken by the group and the bonding of the cohort applications will be considered for the following programme. Deadlines for applications are:

Module 1 - P17 13th March 2024 12th April 2024

Module 2 - P17 8th May 2024

Cancellation

Fees are not refundable under any circumstances.  A participant who misses a module will be able to make it up by joining the following year’s cohort for that module at no additional cost. A late-cancellation fee of £250 will also be applied for any module cancelled with less than two weeks’ notice.
