programme structure
The programme consists of a total of 29 days, divided into six modules over a twelve month period. Most participants join the programme with the Orientation in April and complete all the modules with a single cohort. However, restrictions on people’s ability to travel internationally and meet in person have encouraged ODC to offer greater flexibility. Whilst there are important learning and development benefits to experiencing the programme as part of an intact cohort, participants are now eligible to complete all six modules (in any order) within three years to become an NTL graduate and receive their programme certificate.
Participants are encouraged to stay overnight at or near the programme venue for the face-to-face modules. This allows for occasional evening work and supports the cohort’s development as a learning community. See Dates & Venue for more information.
Application form
All applicants go through an interview and assessment process. You can download the application form here. If you would like to apply, please complete the application form and send it to info@odceurope.co.uk
ONLINE REQUIREMENTS
As a mixed mode programme featuring both in-person and online modules, we wish to highlight that participants need to be able to use Zoom (for online meetings) and Dropbox or MS Teams (to access module material). ODC does not offer IT support so if this might be an issue we encourage you to seek out assistance locally.
Tuition
The tuition for the programme is £12,000 plus VAT.
Payment in full is preferred before the start of the Programme. It is also acceptable to pay in three instalments. First payment (40%) is required on acceptance, second (30%) by the 1st of the month of the third module (usually September) and the final payment (30%) by the 1st of the month of the fifth module (usually January).
Participants are responsible for organising their own accommodation and evening meals during the face-to-face modules. Details for booking at our venue will be provided on acceptance into the Programme (see Dates & Venue).
The timely payment of invoices is a condition of participation. Applicants are reminded that the programme operates on a not-for-profit basis.
Individuals are allowed to participate in specific modules rather than the full six-module programme. The individual module fee is £2,500 plus VAT. Full graduates of the OD Certificate Programme can return to participate in individual modules for a fee of £750 plus VAT per module. Please contact us about availability or to be placed on the notification list.
CLOSING DATES FOR APPLICATIONS
We take applications for the Programme (to join the cohort) up to one month prior to that cohort’s Orientation. Please contact us if you would like us to consider an application after this cut-off.
Applications for individual modules are to be submitted at least one month prior to the module you are hoping to attend.
Cancellation
Fees are not refundable under any circumstances. A participant who misses a module will be able to make it up by joining the following year’s cohort for that module at no additional cost. A late-cancellation fee of £375 will apply in cases where attendance in any module cancelled with less than two weeks’ notice and ODC has not yet received payment for that module.
